Al Shank Sez……………..Andover Tornado

It’s that time of year….May is the busiest of months for tornadoes in Kansas. Both my daughters and their families witnessed the Andover, KS tornado last week. Thankfully, none were hurt and no property was damaged of theirs. If you have seen the video on my Al Shank Facebook page it appears the tornado is safely out of reach of the houses and if you turn up the volume you can even hear the birds chirping. All while at the base of the tornado it was estimated to be on the ground for 21 minutes and cause damage to some 400 buildings and surrounding properties. It was judged to be an EF 3 tornado. I certainly class it as “deadly” beauty.
